There are several visual effects and listing options available. These are optional and may require a fee.

1. HomePage Featured - These listings will be randomly selected to be displayed on our main page.
2. Category Featured - The listing will be featured above other items in category listings.  
3. Gallery Listing - The listing will be featured in the gallery section.
4. Highlight Listing - The listing with have a highlighed background to attract attention.
5. Bold Listing - The listing title will be displayed with a bold font.
6. Hit counter - A free service to help track how many views your listing has received.
7. Auto Relist - Automatically relist an unsold item (a multiple item listing that has had at least one sale will not be auto relisted).

To list items for sale or trade, you must first enter the item information.

The folowing fields are required:

• Category - This is the category and/or sub-category where your listing will be located. (State - Region - Town or Suburb - Building Type). 

• Title - The title of your listing, place as much detail as possible. This should include in order, Building Name - Building Region or Suburb - Size (how many bedrooms) - Number of Persons (e.g. 2 bedroom would be 4 people) - Number of Nights (from 1 to 7 or greater) there are no minimum or maximum asked for it is your choice.

• Quantity - The quantity of goods to be sold.

• Item Location - The location of your building or park.

• Detailed Description - Any information about the item(s) for sale or trade. This information can be cut & pasted from your website. 

• Selling Method - Traditional Auction, Dutch Auction (Sell more than one item of the same type) if you have multiple rooms of the same type available for the time period listed add as many of these rooms as you want, Fixed Price Listing & Classified Ad.

• Number of Days to Run - The listing duration. If this option is not present, the Seller must enter the Start and/or End dates for the listing. (See below)

• Starting Price - The lowest acceptable price for your listing (unless you specify a Reserve), or the cost of goods for a Fixed Price listing.

The following fields are optional:

• Hit Counter Style
• Home Page Featured
• Category Featured
• Gallery Listing
• Highlight Listing
• Bold Listing
• PayPal Email - Supply your PayPal email address and a link will be created for the winning bidder(s) to make a payment. 
• Shipping Cost - The additional charge for shipping and handling the item(s).
• Auto Relist - Allows you the option of having your items automatically relist if they go unsold (a multiple item listing that has had at least one sale will not be auto relisted).
• Upload Base Image - This is the main image for your listing. This image is used if the "Gallery Listing" feature is selected.

Depending on the site configuration, the following fields may also be optional:

• Start Date - The Seller is allowed to specify the exact start date of the listing.
• Free Extra Images - Additional images that can be added to the listing without extra fees.
• Premium Extra Images - Additional images that can be added to the listing for a fee.

The following options are optional and only available for Traditional Auctions:

• Buy It Now
• Reserve Price

Some item categories may require additional information. For example, a category called "Textbooks" may require the seller to include the ISBN or edition.

Adding Images - You can add images when you list an item. You can also edit a listing to include additional images.

Images must be in .jpg or .gif format.

• .jpg - File format that reduces file size without reducing image quality.
• .gif - Common file format used specifically for web graphics.

To upload an image (from the 'Sell an Item' form):

1. Click "Browse"
2. Locate the image file on your computer
3. Select the file name
4. Click "Open"

To change an image (from the 'Sell an Item' form):

1. Check the box marked "Delete"
2. Click "Browse"
3. Locate the image file on your computer
4. Select the file name
5. Click "Open"

The images that you choose for your listing can be interchanged. If you do not like the original image order, you can rearrange them by changing their sequence number.

Edit a Listing - Complete listing information can be edited IF:

• Auction and Dutch Auction - The item has recieved 0 (zero) bids
• Fixed Price Listing - 0 (zero) items have been sold
• The listing is a Classified Ad

If a listing has received bids or one of multiple items have sold, the following changes can be made:

• The Seller can append a note to the item description
• Listing Options can be added

To Edit a listing:

1. Login to your account
2. Access your My Account/My Auctions menu
3. Select the "Selling" tab
4. Select [edit item]
5. Make changes to available fields
6. Click the button "Save Changes"

Cancel a Listing - There are two ways to cancel an active listing. You can:

• End the listing early OR
• Delete the listing

To End a listing early (immediately):

1. login to your account
2. Access your My Account/My Auctions menu
3. Select the "Selling" tab
4. Select [edit item]
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Item page
6. Type the word "End" into the appropriate text field
7. Click the button "End Early"

To Delete a listing (immediately):

1. login to your account
2. Access your My Account/My Auctions menu
3. Select the "Selling" tab
4. Select [edit item]
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Item page
6. Type the word "Delete" into the appropriate text field
7. Click the button "Delete Item"

Seller Guide:

As a new seller to the site you can create your ads by one of the following procedures.

1. Click “Sign In” on the top right hand corner of your screen.
2. Type your User Name & Password & click “sign in” or use the enter button on your keyboard.
3. When signed in follow one of the next two methods.

Please Note:

All sign in is based on a security timer session, if you take to long creating your advert the site will time out & you will have to sign in again.  If this happens you will loose your advert, a safe option is to copy your advert through your normal copy & paste before clicking “Next” or select the "Save Button" in the top right hand corner of the editor tool bar.  This way you can paste your text back into the editor.

Selling (Option 1)

1. Click on the “Sell” link on the home page tool bar
2. Select  your main & sub-categories
3. Select your preferred sale type (Auction, Fixed Price, Reserve, Classified, ect. ect.) If your are selling a motor vehicle or boat please select classified to access the $5.99; 30 day Auto & Marine listing.  
4. Add your item location Click “Next”
5. Add your title, be descriptive, add as much information as possible (names, brands, colours & size
6. Add starting price
7. Add Reserve Price (optional)
8. Add Buy Now Price (optional)
9. Click the PayPal check box (optional)
10. Add payment instructions (Accepted payment types - How long to pay after auction end - Tell buyers if postage price is not allowed - Refund policy)
11. Add Shipping or Postage cost (optional)
12. Use the ad editor to create your text (You can also add a more comprehensive set of payment, postage & refund policies)
13. When you are happy with your advert click “Next”
14. Select your “Start Date & Time” or leave blank to start immediately
15. Select the number of days your listing will run by clicking the arrow next to the number “3”. (3 to 10 days)
16. Select the number of times you would like to re-list your item for free if unsold (1 to 50 times until sold). 
17. If an item does not sell there are no fees to relist Select a “Counter” to let you know how many times your advert has been viewed
18. Select all of the listing features you require
19. Add your images, click “Browse” & search your picture files on your computer clicking on that file to upload the image to the site. (First 4 images free)
20. Click the “Confirm” button at the bottom of the page
21. When your advert is confirmed you will see you’re a page of listing advice and price
22. If you are happy, click the “Post Item Button”

You advert is complete and listed on the site.

Selling (Option 2)

1. Follow the same sign in process
2. Click on the “My Account” button on the Home Page tool bar (This is where all your advertising information & profile is kept)
3. Click on “Templates” link on the left hand side of the page Click on “Create a Template”
4. Follow the same process as above except for activation of the advert

When your template is completed use the “Activate Template” button & follow the same listing procedure as above.

Email Notifications:

The following option is required when responding to customer question emails.

1. Logon to your account
2. Access “Active Listings”
3. Click on the active listing title to open that listing
4. The buyers question will show at the bottom of that listing
5. The option to respond will show at the bottom of that listing

Please note that if you respond to a buyer question by using the reply link at the bottom of the email notification sent from Ozbid to your email account that reply will only be sent back to Ozbid, not the buyer.
