Winnie Reid Nakamarra

Winnie is an established Western Desert artist from Kintore (Walungurru), a remote settlement in the Northern Territory of Australia, located approximately 530km west of Alice Springs.

Winnie is the daughter of highly acclaimed Western Desert artist, Makinti Napanagnka.

Winnie’s paintings depict the sacred Lupul Rockhole and the Dreamings associated with her land.

Winnie incorporates vivid colour and contrasting depictions of her dreaming on the canvas, to create eye catching, unique pieces of Indigenous art.
